MISC LINKS
For various other things that aren't really related to myself personally but I still wanna have regardless. Most links, unless otherwise specified, are not owned/created by me.
CODING RESOURCES
MDN web docs - a very helpful collection of documentation as well as tutorials on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Includes helpful info on other things like web APIs, extensions, and tech.
Learn JavaScript Online - I haven't finished it yet, but so far a pretty decent way to learn JavsScript, I think. Lets you highlight stuff to take notes so you can look back later.
freeCodeCamp - This is what I used to learn the basics of HTML and CSS! The learning style may not be for everyone, and can be a tad repetitive, but it does what a lot of other courses I tried failed to do: it actually has you apply the knowledge it gives you as you go, rather than just dumping a lesson on you then having you take a multiple choice quiz or do a tiny isolated code sedgment. For hands-on learners like myself, VERY useful, would recommend.
Codepen.io - a site where people post all sorts of code snippets and projects, using pretty much only HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Very good place to reference and learn from others in real code examples, and you can even use a lot of the snippets in your own code as long as you credit the original coder. Make sure to check that using in your own code is allowed, though.
GRAPHIC RESOURCES
.co/rentry - pixels, dividers, gifs, blinkies, buttons, HTML borders, number & letter pixels. The pixels are very well organized, the dividers not so much. HTML borders, letter pixels, blinkies, and buttons are limited in number, but the rest have a very good amount to choose from. Also has links to other sites that are helpful.
.co/decor - dividers, pixels, frames, pngs, blinkies, buttons, symbols, masks. There is a stamps category, but nothing is there yet. All categories that have content have a pretty good amount. Almost all of them are sorted as well, most with text although the dividers category is just in color order (i.e. rainbow then other).
.cc/theatrifonts - a bundlrs page run by me that aims to be a reference for lots of fonts to use. Currently there isn't much there, but there are a few fonts.
cursors 4u - A site with tons of cursors + the code to import them to your own site.
bonnibell's graphics - a very well organized collection of all manner of graphics for your using pleasure. While not organized by "rentry categories" (i.e. pixels, borders, etc) it is very easy to find things based on theme.
ezgif - easy to use, online gif editor.
photopea - a photoshop-like program that can be used entirely online with very limited, non-obtrusive ads. Wonderful site, would recommend.
filegarden and catbox - completely free file hosting. Personally I use filegarden more and find it easier to navigate than catbox, but both are very good. Plus, catbox is cat/anime themed!
Spriters Resource - a site dedicated to getting assets from games and such, from what I can tell it's mostly older ones? Before I changed this site from its wii theme to this one, I got a lot of my graphics from this site's wii page. It's SERIOUSLY a good site, I'm not joking when I say there's a section dedicated to a literal fucking calculator. A CALCULATOR. These mfs got it all...
